This Historic Structure Report Concerns the Commandant's House at Charlestown Navy Yard. Three site visits were made to the Commandant's House by Architectural Conservator Barbara Yocum in the fall of 2005: the first October 25, the second October 27, and the third October 31. Also on site was William Lewis Barlow III, Senior Historical Architect with Boston National Historical Park, who was overseeing the contract work. Site notes and digital photographs were taken during these visits to document the previously hidden architectural elements.
