Assessing the Underwater Soundscape to Quantify the Acoustic Environment at National Park of American Samoa
Haver SM. Assessing the Underwater Soundscape to Quantify the Acoustic Environment at National Park of American Samoa. 2019-2021. National Park Service
This project examines the condition of the underwater soundscape in a coral reef ecosystem and assesses the location and frequency of vessel noise above natural conditions in National Park of the American Samoa (NPSA). The primary resource management issues that NPSA wants to address are the ambient underwater soundscapes within the park and the overlying patterns in vessel traffic.
