The following standard operating procedure (SOP) describes the process for conducting GPS shoreline survey monitoring. These procedures are based on the Northeast Coastal and Barrier Network Geomorphological Monitoring Protocol Part I—Ocean Shoreline Position (Psuty et al. 2010). Much of the content was used verbatim from Psuty et al. (2010), but modifications have been made where applicable.
