The following standard operating procedure (SOP) outlines the generation of products included in the annual shoreline report. This SOP addresses the topics included in the annual reports, including the annual report contents and the creation of maps and summary tables. These procedures are adapted from the Northeast Coastal and Barrier Network Geomorphological Monitoring Protocol Part I—Ocean shoreline position (Psuty 2010). This SOP assumes the user has at least an intermediate understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
