This report summarizes the results of six years of field research in Illilouette Creek Basin (ICB). Lightning-ignited wildfires in ICB have been allowed to burn with relatively little interference since 1972. We combined field measurements of soil moisture, snowpack, and microclimates with datasets from other sources, as well as hydrologic modeling, to study the likely eco-hydrologic impacts of these fires.
