Following Chapter I, Island of Virginius, 1751-1816, the history of the island is generally presented in roughly 10 year increments. Chapter VIII summarizes the key historical data while the last chapter is Conclusions and Recommendations. There are nine photographs and 13 maps in the Appendix.
