During GLBA field surveys, observation data are directly recorded using applications that runs on laptops or mobile devices. Data collected include murrelet bird group observations, their relation to line transects, covariates, tracklogs, and GPS points made on survey transects. These are stored in their original raw form after the field survey and are never edited. Once quality control processes are completed, the corrected data is ultimately incorporated into the KM_E deliverable.
