Total number of nights where a species was determined as present using Kaleidoscope Bats of North America 4.2.0 classifier MLE < 0.05 between 15 May and 14 Aug 2016 – 2018 within NPS National Capital Region units. Nights are the total number of nights that were recorded at each site. Species abbreviations are: big brown (Eptesicus fuscus; EPFU), eastern red (Lasiurus borealis; LABO), hoary bat (Lasiurus cinereus; LACI), silver-haired (Lasionycteris noctivagans; LANO), eastern small-footed (Myotis leibii; MYLE), little brown (Myotis lucifugus; MYLU), northern long-eared (Myotis septentrionalis; MYSE), Indiana (Myotis sodalis; MYSO), evening (Nycticeius humeralis; NYHU), Mexican free-tailed (Tadarida brasiliensis; TABR), southeastern myotis (Myotis austroriparius; MYAU), and tri-colored bat (Perimyotis subflavus; PESU). During this sample period, Prince William Forest Park (PRWI) and Manassas National Battlefield Park included TABR, and PRWI included MYAU. Note that due to data grouping based on pick up times, some summer nights at the beginning or end of the season were not run with MYAU or TABR.
