This document establishes the overall goals of the educational program and focuses on a variety of important considerations for the final planning process. Education is a primary mission of the National Park Service and although the Great Kills Education and Visitor Center (GKEVC) will serve a variety of functions, it will be the hub of the educational programs offered at this site.
