This joint project between the University of Nevada Las Vegas, the Southwest Invasive Plant Management Team, and GUMO was to collaboratively develop and deploy research studies to rehabilitate and restore grass communities within the Salt Basin. We implement a series of studies to develop and test management strategies, including conducting remnant grass patch surveys and shrub removal and outplanting experiments.
