This dataset represents one year of forest vegetation monitoring (2021) by the National Capital Region Network (NCRN) Inventory and Monitoring Program, a partial set of plots from the 400+ plot dataset. Data are collected from forest plots randomly scattered throughout the NCRN. Each plot is visited once every 4 years. Data covers 3 NCRN Vital Signs: Forest Vegetation, Forest Pests and Diseases, and Exotic Invasive Plants. It includes data on the following categories: Trees, Saplings, Stems, Seedlings, Shrubs, Shrub Seedlings, Tree Sapling Conditions, Foliage Conditions, Vines, Herbs, Quadrat Conditions, Plot Floor, Coarse Woody Debris (CWD), and Tag History.
