Forecasting Climate Change Vulnerability for Fish Diversity in Southern Appalachia

Troia M. Forecasting Climate Change Vulnerability for Fish Diversity in Southern Appalachia. Research Permit and Reporting System

The objective of this study was to monitor water temperatures at six sites. Temperatures were logged every 15 minutes from May 2017 to December 2020. A total of 745,342 measurements were downloaded. Temperatures decreased from low elevation to high elevation. Interannual variation in water temperature was moderately sensitive to interannual variation in air temperature. To date, these data have contributed to two peer-reviewed publications. These data can inform conservation and management.
