On October 12, 2021, David Todd, representing the Conservation History Association of Texas, conducted a remote audio interview with Donna Shaver, Ph.D. about the Kemp's Ridley sea turtle, for the Texas Fauna Project, towards a wildlife conservation archive for the Briscoe Center for American History at the University of Texas, and for a manuscript for Texas A&M University Press.
