This document (Field Operations Manual) contains a brief introduction to the project and procedures to follow at the base location (i.e., a field crew’s home base of operation) and on-site at the field sampling location, including methods for sampling vegetation, soils, hydrology, water chemistry (including chlorophyll-a), microcystin, and characteristics (natural cover and wetland stressors) of the area immediately surrounding the sampling location (referred to as the “buffer”).
