This reference is standard operating procedure (SOP) 1 from the FQ-2022.1 protocol package, in effect as of the 2021 monitoring season. SOP 1 details steps for maintenance, deployment, error checking, cleaning, calibration, and storage of the YSI EXO3 multiparameter sonde and EXO handheld display used to measure water temperature, pH, specific conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity. Information sequence follows the field season, from advance preparations and equipment setup, through monthly site checks and maintenance, to post-sampling submission of data and sensor storage.
