This brief summarizes 2021 weather data (precipitation and temperature) for George Washington Memorial Parkway and compares it to historical data (1895–2020). In all, 2021 was extremely warm and very wet. In fact, it was almost a record-setting year for temperature, ending as the 3rd warmest since 1895. In contrast, annual total precipitation was close to normal, though the summer was wet and the autumn was quite dry.
