Super PE and Super SE. 2021. Microscopic pond life from vegetation sample collected from rainwater catchment pond at Twin Creeks Science and Education Center, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Small vegetation samples were collected from this pond and held in petri dishes, attempting to culture a particular fungal species. Non-target organisms were sometimes imaged through a compound microscope for documentation and possible future identification. Images were taken through Meiji 100x or 400x compound microscope using Canon HD CMOS Pro camera and video clips taken at 100x with the same equipment. Rain catchment ponds are on the north side of the Twin Creeks Science and Education Building, 35.68778 / -83.49969
