Small vegetation samples were collected from this wetland and held in petri dishes, attempting to culture a particular fungal species. Non-target organisms were sometimes imaged through a compound microscope for documentation and possible future identification. Images were taken through Meiji 100x or 400x compound microscope using Canon HD CMOS Pro camera and video clips taken at 100x with the same equipment. Wetland is at the south end of the visitor center parking lot approach at 35.51216 -83.30668
