This document is a companion document to Northeast Coastal and Barrier Network Geomorphological Monitoring Protocol: Part I—Ocean Shoreline Position, Version 2. This document consists of a number of highly-detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) intended to ensure the consistency and repeatability essential to long-term monitoring of Ocean Shoreline Position. These SOPs will be modified and revised as technology improves and better methods for monitoring coastal geomorphological change are developed.
