From the introduction: "In June 2015, the North American Dendroecological Fieldweek (NADEF) met for its 25th anniversary at Acadia National Parks, Schoodic Institute. Five Groups sought to address separate dendroecological questions using field and laboratory analysis. The Introductory Groups Primary Goals were to: (1) learn the fundamentals of dendrochronology, which included, the developing of their skills for site selection, data collection, analysis, and laboratory techniques (2) develop modern chronologies from the Blueberry Hill and Schoodic Point sites, and to (3) reconstruct spruce budworm outbreaks."
