Native plant restoration monitoring in Glacier NP for 2021. The objectives of this report are to document the results of the 2021 season. The report includes: (1) results from monitoring 12 eastside grassland plots approximately 20 years after their establishment; (2) data from several revegetation projects (St. Mary Visitor’s Center, Phase VI Going-to-the-Sun Road (GTSR) Restoration and Bowman Lake Access Road Restoration); (3) a study design for assessing the effects of long-term herbicide application in Two Dog Flats Meadow; (4) results from whitebark and limber pine restoration projects; (5) results from whitebark and limber pine plus tree monitoring; and (6) overall recommendations for the monitoring program, including a schedule for future monitoring.
