Protocols outlining methods to be used for a 5 year span from 2021-2025. Designed to address concerns that came to light during the analysis of camera data (2012-2020) and writing of “Camera Trapping of Migrating Pronghorn Through Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve 2012- 2020 (Stefanic 2021)”. The primary question these protocols hope to answer is “what percentage of pronghorn that migrate through Pronghorn Pass are not using the main route?” (i.e., how effective have past efforts been? and are the wildly fluctuating numbers recorded in the past likely real, or more likely a result of inadequate camera coverage).
