Data package merging the American Ornithological Society (AOS) Checklist of North and Middle American birds with associated bird banding codes from USGS Bird Banding Lab (BBL) and taxonomic information from the IRMA Taxonomy system. This version of the checklist incorporates changes through the 62nd supplement. USGS BBL data used in this project was from the North American Bird Banding Program Dataset retrieved 2021-07-25, specifically the species look up table for obtaining alpha codes.
