The Many Glacier valley lies in the northwest corner of Glacier National Park, Montana. For the last three summers I have worked for the National Park Service in the Many Glacier area doing trail maintenance. For the last two summers, in my spare time, I researched and pieced together the glacial geology of the Many Glacier valley and 20 miles out into the plains to the east. I mapped nearly 400 square miles of glacial geology. This paper presents the general glacial history of the area, concentrating on the last major glaciation (probably Bull Lake) showing the area covered by it and its effect of the local geomorphology.
