This is an initial list developed as a working list for field use. It is not to be construed as a definitive list for the study area. The list is based on plants collected in 1999 from field trips to the Grand Wash vicinity, Las Chance and Hidden Canyons vicinity, and Whitmore and Andrus Canyons. Most of the voucher specimens are housed at the Brigham Young University Herbarium. Additional species listed are from a list of plants in the Bureau of Land Management Arizona Strip District Herbarium dated June, 1979. Additional field work will be conducted during the 2001 field season and subsequent years resulting in a more complete checklist.
