This standard operating procedure (SOP) gives step-by-step instructions for measuring ground cover, plant height, and plant species along 2 50-m transects as part of the Plant Community Composition and Structure Monitoring Protocol for the Northern Great Plains I&M Network (Symstad et al. 2012). The SOP describes the procedures for filling in Forms PCM-4 “Point-Intercept Data Sheet”.
