Herpetofauna Inventory at Biscayne National Park in 2002-2003

Rice KG, Waddle JH, Crockett ME, Bugbee CD, Jeffery BM, Percival HF. Herpetofauna Inventory at Biscayne National Park in 2002-2003. 2002-2003. National Park Service

From 2002-2003, a herpetofauna inventory was conducted at Biscayne National Park (BISC) to try to find and record a comprehensive list of the species found within the park. To achieve this goal, visual encounter, anuran vocalization, and opportunistic encounter surveys were conducted. In an effort to comply with Executive Order 13642, Making Open and Machine Readable the New Default for Government Information (GPO 2013), almost 20 years after this inventory project ended, the numerous datasets created as a result of the study were cleaned and processed in order to become machine readable and accessible to the public.
