Peek KM, Thompson HL, Tormey BR, Young RS. 2022. Coastal Hazards & Sea-Level Rise Asset Vulnerability Assessment for Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve and Fort Caroline National Memorial: Summary of Results. NPS 006/186750, NPS 396/186750. Program for the Study of Developed Shorelines, Western Carolina University. Cullowhee, N.C.

This document presents the results of the Coastal Hazards & Sea-Level Rise Asset Vulnerability Assessment completed by Western Carolina University at Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve and Fort Caroline National Memorial. This assessment evaluates vulnerability (as a combination of exposure and sensitivity) of NPS buildings and transportation assets to identified coastal hazards and climate change factors, approximately to the year 2050. The primary file (under “Digital Files and Links”) links to a report summarizing the park-specific exposure, sensitivity, and vulnerability results, as well as unique considerations and data sources. Additional NPS-only internal files (linked from the “See Also” box) are detailed, asset-specific coastal hazard and sea-level rise vulnerability assessment results for buildings and transportation assets in spreadsheet (Excel) and ArcGIS (map package) formats.
