R scrips used to quality check data, and create data package, EML metadata, and data release report. There is one R script (*.R) and four R Markdown scripts (*.Rmd) included here. LTVMP_Unmatched_Plant_Codes.Rmd is used to validate taxa codes used in cover and frequency data sets. dataPackage_taxaList.Rmd validates plant names against Integrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS) and creates taxa and soil surface code lists and associated metadata templates for the construction of EML metadata. dataPackage_vegData.Rmd creates flat spatial, plot attribute, and cover and frequency data sets and the associated metadata templates. dataPackage_eml.R creates EML metadata from the metadata templates. And lastly, DataReleaseReportRmd.Rmd creates the data release report (DRR).
