This report summarizes the methods and results used to detect Elodea and document the aquatic vegetation of two lakes in Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve (GAAR), Walker Lake and Lake Selby. The survey was conducted in August 2019 using a standardized method to detect Elodea. Elodea was not detected in either lake. Aquatic plant diversity was low and new aquatic plant species were documented for both lakes.
