This document presents the results of the Coastal Hazards & Sea-Level Rise Asset Vulnerability Assessment completed by Western Carolina University at Charles Pinckney National Historic Site and Reconstruction Era National Historical Park. This assessment evaluates vulnerability (as a combination of exposure and sensitivity) of NPS buildings and transportation assets to identified coastal hazards and climate change factors, approximately to the year 2050. The primary file (under “Digital Files and Links”) links to a report summarizing the park-specific exposure, sensitivity, and vulnerability results, as well as unique considerations and data sources. Additional NPS-only internal files (linked from the “See Also” box) are detailed, asset-specific coastal hazard and sea-level rise vulnerability assessment results for buildings and transportation assets in spreadsheet (Excel) and ArcGIS (map package) formats.
