This video is a compilation of interviews with barn owners on site at their properties as they talk about the history of their barns, their experience with the assessment project, and their future plans for preservation and rehabilitation. The video will be used as an educational tool for residents of Douglas County and others to promote preservation of rural, ag-related resources. Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the State, Tribal, Local Plans and Grants division, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior, administered by the Kansas Historical Society (grant number P19AF000217).
