The evaluation of hiking trails in Glacier National Park by those who use them
Simmons AB. 1958. The evaluation of hiking trails in Glacier National Park by those who use them. Colorado State University. Fort Collins, CO
The extensive system of trails in Glacier National Park lures many hikers into the "back country" each year. Many of these people who have the time and are willing to travel the Park by foot are seldom asked their opinion about why they hike or how they feel about the condition of the trails. The purpose of this survey was to ferret out this information and to gain important ideas, comments and suggestions from this group of Park visitors.
