This video is an edited recording of a presentation by Alan Hire of Triangle Builders during reroofing of the cabin at Kaw Mission State Historic Site in Council Grove, KS. The reconstructed cabin was being reroofed with cedar shingles and the presentation contains tips and guidance for property owners who are planning similar work. The video will be used as an educational tool and to promote preservation of this roofing material.
