Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park (KLGO) usually conducts 4 bird monitoring studies each year. These monitoring programs are ongoing, multi-year efforts at continental, state, and park scales. In 2020, none of the studies were performed due to COVID-19 protection measures and staff vacancies, however, a special bird use survey of a site in Dyea was accomplished by contract. In 2021 and 2022, the four monitoring studies resumed, some at reduced levels. This report presents information on all bird monitoring activities at KLGO in 2020-2022.
