This document describes the conversations and outputs of a scenario planning workshop designed to inform future fire management planning at Lassen Volcanic National Park. The workshop was designed to practice the application of scenario thinking to structure discussions about the challenges of climate change and identify climate informed management goals, strategies and actions. Specifically, the purpose of the workshop was to: - Explore how future climate conditions and other factors might affect future fire management in LAVO; - Create and develop a series of scenarios that outline alternative conditions facing LAVO in the next 20 years; and - Generate ideas and suggestions for consideration and inclusion in a forthcoming LAVO Fire Management Plan revision process.
