Park Resource Report. National Park Service
The National Park Service publishes a range of reports that address natural and cultural resource topics. These reports are of interest and applicability to a broad audience in the National Park Service and others in natural resource management, including scientists, conservation and environmental constituencies, and the public. The Park Resource Report Series is used to disseminate high-priority, current resource management information with managerial application. The series targets a general, diverse audience, and may contain NPS policy considerations or address sensitive issues of management applicability. Three types of reports are included in the report series: 1. Plans. Used to prescribe how scientific projects or programs are to be conducted and implemented. Examples include study plans, protocols and procedures, quality assurance plans, and resource management plans. 2. Methods. Used to describe approved scientific procedures and standards for data collection, processing, and analysis for use or application in scientific studies. 3. General. Reports that do not fit within the scope of Plans or Methods, but are outside the scope of the other report series.
