This data set shows management-derived fire perimeters for large fires (>5 acres) or otherwise mapped fires occurring in Glacier National Park, Montana and adjacent lands between 1967 and 2022. Mapping was achieved through a variety of techniques including handheld and airborne GPS, infrared imaging, and sketch mapping from aerial photography (older fires).
