The water right was quitclaimed to the UTAH PARKS COMPANY a corporation of the State of Utah for $1 dollar on December 31, 1971. Quitclaim Deed transferring from the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company and its lessee, Union Pacific Railroad. Also, on that day a Special Warranty Deed was granted by Utah Parks Company that donated said water rights, springs, and water wells to the Grantee (NPS). The NPS applied for a change application 73-424 (a23462a), a well that would join the rights of 73-424 and 73-1211 for Twin Springs and Blowhard Springs. The application permanently lapsed by the State of Utah on August 31, 2011.
