From the report: "This guidebook serves as a resource to help Pennsylvania communities of all sizes understand a framework for measuring historic preservation's comprehensive impacts- both positive and negative. The guidebook explores five central themes of preservation's impact- economic, financial and fiscal, community development, environmental, and quality of life. For each theme, the guideboook details specific metrics to analyze to conduct place-specific impact assessments of historic preservation efforts." Project funding was provided in part by a Historic Preservation Fund grant to the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office, administered by the State Tribal Local Plans and Grants Division (P22AF00746).
