Mount Vernon Trail polygon and Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail north of Roosevelt Island to the Beltway polygon. Mount Vernon Trail data represents the trail edge while the Potomac Heritage Trail was generate from by buffering the centerline by 3 feet on either side for a total of 6 feet. The trail edge data for the Mount Vernon Trail was derived from county or city datasets for impervious surface and sidewalks/walkways. The data was then edited based on 2021 aerial photography. The data is in the Virginia State Plane, North (feet), North American Datum 1983 (2011) (WKID 6593).
