This vector point dataset was created to display 54 Non-Sensitive high potential historic sites of the Old Spanish National Historic Trail. This dataset is a subset of the complete high potential site locations as identified in the 2017 Old Spanish NHT Comprehensive Administrative Strategy, however locations have been updated to present locations more accurately. In order to view all of the high potential sites, please refer to the static maps within the Comprehensive Administrative Strategy. This dataset is not intended for National Environmental Policy Act impacts analysis or Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act undertaking potential effects analysis. Contact the National Historic Trail administrators concerning NEPA and Section 106. The coordinates for the dataset were created from various sources at various scales. Generally the data was created at 1:24000 scale or larger (geographic). Dataset was created to transfer high potential sites into updated Federal Trail GIS Schema.
