Kichas N and Page J. 2024. Yellowstone National Park FFI Fire Effects Monitoring Data. National Park Service

Fire effects monitoring data collected at Yellowstone National Park, throughout the entire park. The data were collected during summer field seasons by the fire effects monitoring crew out of Yellowstone from 1979 - 2022. Photographs are taken from each end of the transect to document change. Data collected from 50 x 20 m forest plots, 15 x 25 m forest plots, or 11.26 m radius forest plots include tree inventory to obtain density, basal area, canopy bulk density, fuel load using Brown's method for inventorying surface fuels and biomass, vegetation cover and species richness using Daubenmire frames, and seedling density.
