This Historic Structures Report (HSR) documents the Giddings Property Cabin and Cache located within the Onion Portage Archeological District National Historic Landmark (NHL) in Kobuk Valley National Park. The treatment recommendations presented are based on condition assessments conducted by Steven Peterson, Senior Historical Architect, Alaska Region in 1996 and 2003, and the USFS Preservation Team from Missoula, Montana in 2001. These recommendations comply with National Park Service (NPS) guidelines and the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
