Following are findings of a series of surveys for butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies, April-October, within the 485 acre Dyke Marsh Preserve. The focus remained on an accurate documentation of target species within the permit area. This was the ninth consecutive year of collecting data on butterflies and dragonflie (see attached tables and charts). A cadre of volunteer naturalists covered a defined area around Belle Haven Marina and Haul Road.
