Vegetation Community Monitoring Standard Operating Procedure 11: Archival photos, version 1.1
Leis SA, DeBacker MD, Morrison LW, Rowell GA, Haack JL. 2025. Vegetation Community Monitoring Standard Operating Procedure 11: Archival photos, version 1.1. HTLN
Archival photos are helpful for visualizing large scale change through time. Photographs provide a record of conditions in plant communities including the results of management actions. Photos can also be used for presentations, reports, and web articles. Archival photos of monitoring sites are taken in the first year of installation of a monitoring site and then every 12 years thereafter (Table 11.0).
