This Sandoval-Los Alamos Counties Sediment Control Plan was prepared by the Soil and Water Conservation Division in cooperation with the Sandoval, Cuba, Central Rio Grande and Santa Fe Soil and Water Conservation Districts. A Sandoval and Los Alamos Counties Erosion Map was prepared to assess the water quality problem due to sediment. The District Supervisors identified problem areas and developed Best Management Practices on the basis of local experience.
