Erika Iacona directed the 2024 Northern Saw-whet Owl (NSWO, Aegolius acadicus) migration monitoring station in Shasta County, California. The 2024 monitoring objective was to band as many NSWO as possible, with the intent to better understand NSWO demographics in Shasta County, and work towards identifying NSWO migration movements along the West Coast. The station was open between September 23 to October 31. A total of 8 NSWO (n=8) were captured and banded over 2 total nights (n=2).
