This project documents the vegetation associations of New River Gorge National River based on 2003 aerial photography and field sampling (1998-2006 plots, 2006 AA), and completes one of 12 basic inventory data sets for the park. Report published in August 2007. Work on this project was started in 1998, and a report, plots database, and GIS map products for the northern and southern thirds of the park were released three years later (Vanderhorst 2001).
