Summit ReCAP is a spatial model designed to rank the ecological value of land within and around Summit County, Ohio. The 30m-resolution model developed in 2012 uses numerous spatial datasets created within the past decade. It is comprised of eleven individually developed metrics ranking a robust suite of natural resource components. Each metric was independently ground-truthed and calibrated using 700+ random floristic survey plots.
